Where has the summer gone?

I cant believe that summer is coming to an end. Time has really flown bye! In just a few weeks Matt graduates from T-6's and moves forward to the next aircraft T-38 and we will be celebrating our One Year Anniversary!!! -So many things to celebrate!!! :)

Matts cross country trip (two weekends ago) to Denver, CO was a great success. They first traveled to Wichita, KS and then proceed on to Denver. He had a great time with the people he flew with and really enjoyed flying through the mountains!!! Here are some pictures from his adventures!

While Matt was on his cross country, I went to Arkadelphia to visit my family and played in a State softball tournament in Little Rock. We ended up doing pretty well in the tournament even though we were missing a large part of our team. It was a LONG and blistering HOT day. I think we were all relieved when it had ended!! Last weekend I went back to Arkadelphia for Melissa's (Matts sister) bachelorette party! We had a great time at the pool and out on the river! It was a nice weekend full of laughter and relaxation!! While I was in Arkadelphia, Matt spent the weekend doing the yard and hangout out with some of our friends here in Enid.

This weekend I FINALLY was back with Matt in Enid!! It had been a LONG three weeks and I was very anxious to see him again!! We spent the weekend at the pool, playing tennis, working out, and had a cookout/game night at our house with friends!! Currently Matt is at a coffee shop with a classmate going over their flight plans for tomorrow. This past week he and another guy in his class have started Formation Flying. They had their first formation flight last thursday and are now preparing for their next one for tomorrow! From everything I have heard over the weekend, he is really enjoying this part of the training.
