Hello friends and family! We are a little behind on posting a new blog report. As many of you know, NWA has been hit with numerous wintery storms over the past two weeks. We have done a lot of cooking, game playing, cleaning and thought planning for the move! So in a way, the snow has been nice and productive; however we are both ready for some warm and sunny weather (or as matt says- golf weather)!

Last weekend we did get a chance to escape to Arkadelphia to meet with an accountant and visit with family one last time before the move! After a successful meeting with the accountant, we had a great evening with my family eating and catching up! Saturday we spent the day with the Cooley/Ford clan celebrating Jan birthdays! (Matt’s was Jan 28)! We had a great time eating :) and playing a long intense game of nertz! Although short, it was altogether a great weekend with family!

Now we are back to work and getting organized for the move!! Since we are PCS-ing, we don't have to pack a thing. It's all packed and moved for us! The packers/movers arrive fri 19th! We did get some great advice from family who has PCS-ed before to take pictures of all items for documentation in case of any damage. So this weekend we plan to take pictures, go through things and see what can be tossed, and find me an apartment in Fort Smith!!! I have a feeling next weekend (the move) will be here real quick and I hope we have everything worked out and it all runs smoothly!

still ahead: moving, unpacking, and the commute!
