Ready, set,......go!!!!

Today is the first day of school for Matt!!! He left me early this morning in his blues to start his day that is filled with briefing after briefings!! Earlier this week, Matt picked up his flight helmet, gforce suit, and recieved all of his school publishing for class.






As you can see, Matt will be plenty busy during the next 58 or so weeks!
Yesterday I went with him to staples to help him find some good binders. I had to convience him to not go with the cheap binders but the heavy duty ones!! It was tough, but I had very strong points to back me up.

Matt has found enjoyment in wearing around his helmet and radomly popping up behind me with it on. His excuse is "I have to get use to wearing it" and "we were told to"; however the truth is.... He is a grown man who is about to live a childs dream and is about to explode with excitement! The flight helmet is kind of scary in my opinion. What do you think?











This one kind of reminds me of a very large fly.

Last night we went to dinner and I got to meet the two other gaurd guys that matt has been hanging out with! We were much more impressed with this Mexican place then last weeks; however they were missing the best thing- cheese dip! So the search is still on!

As of right now, I am in the clinic on base watching a little girl run in and around all of these service men with her squeaky shoes as I wait for a prescription to be filled. Oooo, Just got called!

The weekend has just begun so hopefully more to come!!
