Gobble Gobble (aka- gooble gooble :P )

We hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving!!! It has been an enjoyable break for us both and we both have so much that we are thankful for! A year ago, Matt was in the beginning stages of his training and we were both unsure of what the next next year had in store for us! We have been so fortunate to both have jobs that we love, wonderful support from family, and have made wonderful friendships through this journey. There is no doubt that "God is good, All the time"! He has truly blessed us and we are SO thankful!!

Turkey Day-
We were lucky enough to celebrate with some friends (Heather and Russ) here in Enid since we were unable to be with our families in Arkansas! Heather and I threw together a menu and exceeded beyond my expectations. To be honest, I was really worried about pulling it off!! Our menu included: Sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn, cranberry salad, stuffing, gravy, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, cheesecake, and the TURKEY!! There was SOOOO much food and it was ALL so delicious! I was SO overwhelmed with how good everything tasted!! Here are some pictures of our first turkey.... and Meal:)

The turkey preparation:

5 and 1/2 hours later....

And the rest of the fixin's!

Our first prepared thanksgiving meal was a complete Success!!! We ate, played games, ate some more, and played more games!! We of course wish we had been home with our families but It really did end up being a great thanksgiving for us both!! We will be home for Christmas and hope to see you all then!

As for Matt's training, he has been busy flying lately as they dive right into formation flying!! Even though it is challenging and wearing at times, He is still loving EVERY minute it. As the weather changes, he will be doing more instrument flying due to lack of visibility. It has all been going by so quickly and April will be here before we know it! He is very thankful for everyones support and prayers through all of this!

I am now off to pack my bags and head back for another week of work! I have really enjoyed being home with Matt and cheeto over the past week!! I cant wait for us to all be in one place and settled!! But until then.... the driving continues! I hope everyone has safe travels home from the holidays!!!

Here is a updated pic of Baby Mac enjoying hobby lobby with her mom!!:

Thanks for following~
