Here are some of our holiday decorations: This is of our Christmas Tree and our two temporary stockings (matt asked me to sew our names on them so I attempted)

This is our Nativity that was given to us by our hosts from our wedding shower and a wreath my mother bought me on our yearly visits to the jewelry box in Fordyce

Here is our table set up and a banner we got from the covenant bookstore in Arkadelphia!

I havent blogged in a while and I am sure everyone is curious as to what we have been up to, so here is a little overview of the past few weeks: Matt has been moving right along on his flights! He had his first formation solo flight last Monday and did very well! He continues to work and study hard! I am so amazed by his dedication and self discipline! I know that he will continue to excel and I am so proud of how far he has come already!
Work has been the same-ole-same-ole for me. I drive to Mena 4 days a week to work in the schools and co-op, and finish my days in the Fort Smith Hospitals. I am so fortunate to work with such amazing people and have the best clients! It is such a rewarding job and I am so thankful! I had so much fun last week with my kiddo's making fleece scarves during our sessions!! They were such a hit!! They LOVED them!!! I also gave them toboggans (hat not the sled) as their Christmas gifts. Many of these kids lost the little that they had in the tornado over a year ago and It meant a lot to me that these kids had what they needed to stay warm! If I could afford to get them all Jackets, I would have!! Now the schools are out for the holiday which means I get to spend the next TWO WEEKS with Matthew!!! I am SOOOO happy!! I just love being home with him and cheeto!!
Yesterday, we went to Oklahoma City with some friends for ice skating and dinner! We had so much fun!! It was cold and eventful to see matt out on the ice:) The hardest part of ice skating was watching out for all the little children who were all over the place. After an 1 1/2 of skating, we went to an italian restaurant for dinner! It was another great time spent with friends.
Matt took these snap shots of us ice skating. (it wasnt really snowing- I just added that feature for fun!)

Some pictures of Matt and me. First one was taken at Kramers apartment on base, Second-Christmas tree in OKC, Thrid- on the ice

Now, we are sitting around watching movies and relaxing! We are anxious for our travels home for the holiday. When Matt gets released Thursday morning, we will drive to Little Rock for the Turner Christmas and then continue downward to Arkadelphia for the Hardman, Cooley, and Ford Christmas!! Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL holiday and hopefully we will be seeing you!
