Happy New Years!!!

Matt, Cheeto, and I celebrated New Years at our home in Enid! We ate, watched movies, and played wii!!! As you can see, Cheeto is quite the partier! We had to keep a close eye on him as he celebrated the new year! :) I honestly cant believe that 2010 has already come and gone!! It was a wonderful year and full of exciting new experiences and people!! I can not wait to see what 2011 has in store for the three of us!!!

Last Monday I had to start back to work and Matt was back to flying on Tuesday!! It was very hard to get back into the routine of our everyday lives again but sadly it had to be done. Even though I wasn't too thrilled about getting back into my crazy driving schedule, it was great getting to see my clients and co-workers again. The week felt long and once Thursday came I was ready to get back home and see my boys again!!

Friday, I attended a spouse meeting to discuss graduation fundraising and then I meet up with Matt at the Officers club on base for 11-4 (Matts class is 11-07) assignment night!! It was my first time to experience Assignment and it was so intense!!! Assignment night is after completion of Phase 3 UPT (undergraduate Pilot Training). On this night all pilots receive information regarding the exact aircraft they will be flying and where their assignment location will be. It was similar to track select however much more intense!! It was absolutely gut wrenching to watch as these details were given in front of everyone!! It was so heart breaking to see when they got upset or disappointed, then again... its extremely exciting when they got exactly what they wanted and seeing all the cool locations they are going to!! Luckily, we wont have that type of suspense when it comes to Matt because we already know what he will be flying (A-10) and where we will be located (Fort Smith). I think thats one of the best benefits of being the air guard!!

After assignment night, we went to buffalo wild wings to watch the Cotton bowl and eat with the gang (a.k.a "the family")! Then we all headed over to our house for games! First we played Loaded Question (gift from the Heberts), attempted Tivial pursuit DVD-pop culture, followed by a SIX HOUR game of mexican train-Dominos!! Yes- I said SIX HOURS!! The game ended at 5:00 A.M!! We were all actually having a so much fun and didn't really realize the time until we got down to the lower dots!!! Once the game ended- everyone left and we headed straight to BED!! We spent most of the next day sleeping!! :) It was a fun night with friends but WAY past our bed time!! As you can see: Cheeto was a serious competitor!
Again, it was a fun night but way too late for us! We were SOOO lazy the next day, which was fine with me because we did nothing but lounge around in our new sweat pants!!! I absolutely LOVE THEM!! We gave a pair to my sister as a gift and I was extremely jealous because Matt got a pair too but they didnt have any in my size. HOWEVER- after several trips to the BX checking to see if they got any new sizes in- I finally found a pair!! All they had were Navy but I was completely fine with that!!! They are ALL I wear on the weekends! Have I mentioned how much I love them?? Because I LOVE THEM!! They have pockets, are wide legged, and the logo is on the bottom!! Here is a snap shot of Matt and I modeling them!!
Ok, enough about sweatpants and on to the weather! I am sure you are all aware but the south has been hit with some snow~ which means: no work for me today or tomorrow!!! YAY! I was suppose to head back to Fort Smith on Sunday but nasty weather hit both here in Enid and back in Arkansas which has me stuck in Oklahoma (no complaints)! Tomorrow I will try to make my way back and sadly return to work on wednesday! :( But I have enjoyed my longer stay here in enid! The snow wasn't as plentiful as it was in our hometown but it was still all enjoyable!!
In this picture, it seem the animals were all enjoying the snow Arkadelphia got!! Matts Aunt Rita sent us this picture!

Well that is all for now! Hope you all have a wonderful week!!
