Sizing up!

As of last Friday, Matt is Check ride complete!!! What is a check ride?? -A check ride is considered a flight examination in which a pilot must complete for certification! So what does this mean?? - It means that Matt has taken all of his flight examinations for UPT!!! This is a big relief of stress for him and all he has left are six more flights in this program!! WOO WHOO!!!

Saturday, Matt and I went to the BX (base exchange- like a store) to purchase Matt's mess dress (formal uniform) and got all of his alteration measurements! Thankfully, there was a sweet elderly woman that works in the uniform department who helped us find everything we needed and provided her expertise on what sizes Matt needed!! I snagged a photo of her while she was speaking with the alterations lady:

Once we finished getting Matts Mess Dress we went and walked around the extremely tiny mall in Enid and looked for me a dress to wear for the formal dinner. Sadly- we had no luck so... we ventured on home for a bit and then met up with Heather and Kramer at the movies! We all decided to see the animated movie RANGO! It was a very cute movie but had a few slow parts in it.

So.... I must share another one of my gifts because I am SOOOO in love with it and Matt did such a wonderful job:) To go along with my new camera lense....
It's not a purse but it is a camera bag that looks like a purse!!! Isnt she beautiful!!! I have been carrying it around everywhere!! I just LOVE IT!!! I just had to share it with you all because you will most likely see me carrying it often:)

Well now its sunday and I am about to head back to Fort Smith for a week of work and then hopefully I will be taking off some for spring break!!! (fingers crossed) Sorry we didnt have much to share with you this weekend but the next few weeks should be rather eventful with lots to share. Have a wonderful week!
